Use your collection to play FIFA World Cup contests! Play along and win!
Welcome to the all-new FIFA World Cup Contests! The FIFA contests allow you to use cards from your FIFA World Cup Collection to compete with your fellow FIFA World Cup users and earn prizes! Each game features 2 contests for users to enter – Regular and VIP. Only VIP members will be allowed to enter the VIP Contests. To become a VIP, make any coin purchase.
On the Contest page you can see all active games for the FIFA World Cup. You can see how many users are already playing in a contest as well as the Contest Fee.
To see what prizes are available for each contest, hit the “Tap to View Rewards” section to see contest prizes. Regular and VIP Contests have different reward values:
Once you have selected your contest, you can then create your team by using cards in your collection. To fill your team, simply press the + for the position you want to fill. At the bottom of the screen you will see all cards in your collection that are eligible for that position. Drag and drop any eligible card from your collection into that position.
Your lineup consists of the following 11 positions:
- 2 Forwards
- 2 Mid Fielders
- 3 Defenders
- 1 Goal Keeper
- 3 Flex Positions – Your choice of Forward/Midfielder/Defender
Once you have saved your lineup, your Contest Team is set! You do have the ability to update players on your team up to 15 minutes before a player’s game starts.
Once the game has begun, players will be locked to your lineup and cannot be changed.
SCORING
Here is how each player’s score is calculated for their game:
Higher level cards also contain Scoring Bonuses based on the card’s rarity or value. You can see your card’s Scoring Bonus by looking at the back of the card. Cards can have anywhere from a 1x to 25x Scoring Bonus. If a player scores 15 points in a game and you are playing with a 5x Scoring Bonus card of that player, you would receive 75 Points for your Contest Team rather than the normal 15 Points.
If you do not have enough cards to fill a team, you are in luck! Each day a new Match Day Pack is available in the Contest Store and Contest VIP Store. These packs will contain just the teams playing in the next game day! You can get cards from all levels in the Contest Store to help make your team even better!
